Welridge Residents Association (WRA)

Welridge Residents Association (WRA) was founded in March 1997 and has been affiliated with the Honeydew Community Police Forum ever since. Our area covers over 776 houses and three townhouse complexes, and it is bordered by John Vorster Road, Jim Fouché Road, JG Strydom Road, and Dale Lace Avenue (which becomes Bloekom Drive).

We operate three key social media groups: 
Security & Emergency: Monitored by two dedicated security companies who actively patrol our area. They provide comprehensive assistance—whether you need a paramedic, fire brigade, armed response, a safe escort onto your property, or help during any other emergency. Just contact your security provider’s call center, and they’ll coordinate the required services, easing your stress in critical moments. 
Community Chat & Support: For general questions, discussions & connection, and advice among residents.
Municipal Services Hub: With topic-based subgroups to report issues or receive updates related to service delivery (water, power, roads, refuse, etc.).
We’ve also negotiated preferential rates for members with both security companies—offering affordable home-linked security and armed response.
Best of all, WRA members look out for each other. Whether you’re facing an emergency or a simple need, someone’s always there to help.

  • Outsourced maintenance of our parks and Greenbelt, funded through your subscription fees.

It is important to know that the WRA Committee members are all volunteers — no one is paid for their time or dedication.
