MISSION STATEMENT
(October 2009)

To address the declared goals of "The Body" to prevent, reduce, curb and/or eradicate crime by:

• creating an atmosphere of good neighbourliness
• encouraging all residents to get to know their neighbour/s, and to be observant for each other,
• maintaining a communication structure for residents to present a unified front for crime prevention,
• maintaining its 1.8 km green belt in a well kept state,
• promoting a residents' membership with monetarty support, allowing "The Body" to:
  • enter into a contract of employment with a Private Security Company for the provision of pro- and re-active patrolling of the Welridge Residents' Association on a 24/7 basis
  • provide any other security measure including palisade fencing
  • support the Honeydew Community Police Forum in it's efforts to assist the Honeydew SAPS in their crime prevention endeavours
  • adopt any other measures to achieve the declared goals
